A tray must be likeable and suggest emotions, it must not be just limited to its function. The elegant shape, rounded edges and sophisticated materials - copper, brass and ‘gunbarrel’ treated steel - make it a luxury, yet simple object. The objects are reflected on the bottom in a magical play of mirrored cross-references. The Zapon treatment is a particular process used to preserve the original gloss and shine of the metal, avoiding oxidation and without any quality loss. The items are dip into special water paintings and then spin-dried: this creates a thin protective longlasting coating.
